They used collage, cut-up newspapers, photomontages and ready-made or found objects to create radical, chaotic images.Members of the Dada movement decided that art should not be such a serious subject and be dominated by painting, so they used everyday images and found objects or (ready-mades) and declared them ART.

In his designs for the The Face magazine, he arranged the type in diagonals or in circles, some letters were extra large, some undersized.
